About Marilee
Marilee’s been a Utahn her whole life, and she wouldn’t have it any other way. As the legal secretary at CFG, she sees her job as the connective hub of the office, keeping communication flowing between clients, attorneys, and staff so that nothing falls through the cracks and nobody feels left in the dark. Her favorite part of the job is helping people decompress. Whether it’s a client carrying the weight of a hard situation, or a busy attorney in the middle of a full week, Marilee has a gift for bringing the temperature down with her smiling face and genuine desire to help.
When she’s not at the office, she’s with her family, cheering on her Eagle Scouts, or hiking somewhere in southern Utah. She also has a talent she’s happy to share: she’s been asked to sing the national anthem at city events for five years running. And yes, she’s an unapologetic fan of K-pop group BTS. Their fanbase goes by ARMY, and she’s proud to count herself among them.
A few things about Marilee
- Fall is her favorite season; the mountain foliage in Utah is hard to argue with
- She’s currently learning Mandarin Chinese, just for the challenge of it
- Her household roots for the University of Utah, mostly due to extended family influence
- On ski days, she opts for sledding with the kids over the slopes
- Comfort food: pizza, always
- She has a mini zoo at home: two dogs, two cats, and a rat
