About Katie
Katie graduated with honors from the SJ Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah and has been licensed to practice law since 2016.
After graduating from law school, Katie worked for the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting misdemeanor and felony cases. Katie was assigned to the Major Crimes Unit and prosecuted domestic violence and special victims cases. Today, she uses those skills to help people navigate the criminal justice system.
Katie focuses her practice on criminal defense, handling both misdemeanor and felony offenses. Katie is an experienced trial attorney and has represented clients accused of drug possession, domestic violence crimes, sexual offenses, and murder. Katie uses her skills to passionately advocate for her clients and achieve the best outcome in every case.
Katie is an amazing lawyer. She listens. I was falsely accused and couldn't get anyone to believe me. She looked carefully at the evidence and evaluated my statement. She invested time in me. I was so relieved the day she told me she believed in me. Katie knows how to patiently use the law for you. In the end, she convinced the prosecutor that a mistake had been made and he dropped the charges "in the interest of justice".
